So I've made a start. Removed the damaged bits, cleaned a few things up. Now I need to do some work with an angle grinder, wire brush, Hammerite :-), and also I need the services of Steve and his MIG welder!

I called at a local breakers - Smashing VWs in Leeds (0113 243 5635) and they had a series II
coupe bodyshell about to go to the crusher. So I got them to chop off the front
end for me!
I got the car jacked up an on my new shiny axle stands then started to dismantle it!
There's a bit of work to do here...

The day's work is done. Good job 'cos it's chucking it down
