I haven't updated this website for ages, mainly because I haven't had any decent pictures to post. Lots done though:
Firstly, I've bought some wheels, so no more flat tyres! They're BK racing 15", with Falken 195/50/15 tyres. Slightly smaller diameter than they should be, but at a price I couldn't resist! Exactly what I was looking for, and I think they look fantastic.
I've also tracked down a headlight at last. After calling at or ringing about 15 scrapyards I remembered Four Rings Spares in Doncaster. I called them and they had one in stock. It's fitted and working but needs some adjustment to look right.
I've finally tidied up the interior too - re-fitted the dashboard covers and moved all the bits from the back seat - looks like a proper car again.
And finally, I've been to the Audi garage and got the bolts and "washer" to join the exhaust.
So it's looking good! Current to do list reads:
Weld both holes in side skirts and re-fit covers
Get the door panels back from the guy who's re-covering them for me and re-fit
them
Sort out the leak in the brake pipe (discovered that one today)
Align the front lights properly and sort out the front foglights
Bolt on the bumper!
Then it's MOT time - and I might finally get to play out in the car!
