I've been busy this weekend!!

I went back today to sand down the sunroof and see what it looked like. Got the edges sanded down with about an hour's sanding with a power sander, and I'm quite pleased with the results so far.

As promised, here are some better pics of the repaired sill.

I also checked all of the lights and sorted my blown fuses (my fault, I connected one of the foglights the wrong way inside - doh!)
But for some reason the rear foglights are off now. Argh!

Bit of a panic at one point though - the radiator fan didn't kick in, so we had a nice display of steam. Oooops!

I called at Halford's for some colour matched paint, partly because the grey primer was getting a bit much, and partly to weather proof the car better as it's about to be kicked out from under the carport back into the winter weather :-( Anyway, after waiting 20 minutes for the paint to be mixed (fair enough) I asked for two cans to make sure I had plenty, only to get to the till and find they were 9.99 each! 20 quid for two cans of spray paint - they must have seen me coming!
It needs more coats but it certainly does match well.

Finally, the car is now wearing this rather fetching outfit to protect it from the expected snow this week - lovely!
